Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3ds Release Date: March 25, 2011
With soccer being the most popular sport in the world, people really expect a lot out of the video games. Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA are the two that are generally worth mentioning, as these two series have really been entertaining people for a number of years. While PES hasn’t gotten the amazing reviews that FIFA has, it doesn’t mean that it’s a bad game, as their 2011 version of the game has been reviewed quite a bit better than some of their other efforts, so that’s definitely worth it. Their foray onto the Nintendo 3DS has been heralded by critics to be the premier 3DS soccer game.
The first thing that you’ll realize about this game is how pretty it is. It’s easily one of the best looking 3DS games that will be available, and considering the roster and the companies behind some of the other games, this really accounts for a lot. This is one of those games that really doesn’t need 3D, and although it’s a great effect, the amount of depth and detail of the players is nothing short of awe-inspiring. With the amazing depth perception allowed by the 3D graphics display you really get a feel of how far other players, and of course the goals are. The camera angles in the game are especially worth talking about, with this offering including a new player game that allows the player to effectively use all of the players on the pitch, bringing a team element into the game that wasn’t demonstrated that well in other PES games.
The active player gameplay has the camera fixed on the player you are controlling at that time following his movements and really gives a great feel to the fast paced gameplay. Being able to fluidly control your team and with the combonation of great camera angles and dynamic control systems makes you become truly immersed in the pro soccer experience.

It’s also pretty comprehensive in terms of depth, featuring 60 National teams and 170 clubs to choose from, encompassing just about every country and club that people love. With all of these teams available, the player can use any star of the game, from Ronaldo to Rohaldino and everyone in between. Of course no real soccer game is complete without great meta play, and PES 2011gives you the ability to control and manage your team through many different season and career modes. If you’re looking to get your soccer fix, PES 11 for the 3DS is definitely the way to go.
