It’s kind of hard to write about Zelda and not sound like a fan boy. It’s just one of those games that everyone can gush over, regardless of what game you may even be thinking about. From A Link to the Past to WindWaker (although some may like to forget it); people still like the subject. A game where there exist no differences is in whether gamers like the Ocarina of Time, as it happens to be one of the most critically-acclaimed games of all time. With that being true, people love the fact that the 3DS is capable of some pretty good graphics, and those who have played the original Ocarina of Time understand how amazing it is for a person to say that the graphics will be severely updated. At the time the game was released, it was touting as having some genuinely impressive graphics, and we really can’t expect that to be any less of the truth here, especially with the 3DS employing its 3D system to the mix, which is generally enough for people to want to experience the game – even if they’re not an owner of a 3DS.

While there is assuredly going to be some additional content, this will essentially be an update to the game, maybe with a MasterQuest kind of thing going on. But having the chance to Ocarina of Time with a handheld device is more than assuring for gamers who may already own one, as well as those people on the fence. Making your way through any one of the temples is enough for most people to consider this a purchase – even the day that it comes out, as it’s one of those experiences that have really defined a generation of gamers.
All that said, we can easily expect this to remain one of the most talked about 3DS games of the year – at least when the game comes out later this year.
